iPad Mini 2 in 2020

Recently I’ve bought a second hand iPad Mini 2 and I’ve heard so many people saying if it’s still worth buying in 2020. I’ve been using the iPad Mini 2 for about a couple of months now and I have to say it’s extremely fast and works perfectly fast with every single game and applications I have downloaded.

Can I play music on the iPad Mini 2?

Yes, you can listen to music on the iPad Mini 2. I strongly recommend to download Spotify because you can listen to music for free and there is no need to download any songs from Spotify or even buy Spotify Premium unlike on a Smartphone.

Gaming on the iPad Mini 2

Gaming on the iPad Mini 2 is perfect, there is no lag at all and this iPad works perfectly fine with Minecraft. Unfortunately you cannot play Fortnite on the iPad Mini 2 because it is not supported by the developer, fortnite requires iOS 13 and the iPad Mini 2 only supports up to iOS 12.

Watching movies on the iPad Mini 2

I absolutely love watching movies on my iPad Mini 2, especially Netflix. Movies are watchable on this iPad and you can watch movies in HD because of the beautiful Retina display this iPad offers.

Does iPad Mini 2 support Apple Pencil?

No, unfortunately the iPad Mini 2 does not support Apple Pencil.

The design of the iPad Mini 2 is slim, gorgeous and looks like a premium tablet and feels good to hold. If you’re buying this iPad for watching movies or gaming, I highly recommend buying a black iPad instead of the white model because movies and games will stand out a lot better and you won’t notice the black iPad unlike you would with a white iPad.

Price: this iPad can only be bought second hand unless you can buy it brand new from somewhere or from someone. The price may range between £90 – £150 depending on how much storage space you need.

Gaming, music or movies I recommend 32GB, 64GB or 128GB.

Light Applications, a few games and photos I recommend 16GB or higher if possible.

Please note this iPad only supports iOS 12 which means it no longer gets no more newer updates and does not support the newest version on iOS 13.
