Lumber Tycoon 2 is an addictive simulation game where you chop down wood and sell it for in-game money which allows you to buy powerful axes and sawmills, using a sawmill is a item everyone must have on the game because it increases wood value and earns you more money for each wood you put through the sawmill.
I’ve been playing Lumber Tycoon 2 for at least a year and a half and it’s pretty much a game that everyone can play.
Why should you play Lumber Tycoon 2?
1. You can build whatever you want. On Lumber Tycoon you have to buy a land which allows you to build blueprints which can be used to build walls, doors, floors and more. You can expand your land at any time.
2. It’s free. Lumber Tycoon is completely free to play, you don’t have to pay a single penny to play.
3. You can collect rare items. Lumber Tycoon gets very limited event updates, the only way to obtain rare limited items is to buy the items from the shops on Lumber Tycoon while the event update is out. Once the event is over those items you bought become super rare and cannot be obtained ever again.
Here’s a list of events that become available each year.
The Halloween Update
This update brings new coloured pumpkins each year, in 2018 Red Cursed Pumpkins were available to buy, there was also an axe called “The Amber Axe” the end times axe is only available on Halloween day each year which is only once a year.
People have claimed to have found spook and sinister wood on Lumber Tycoon 2 but I’ve never seen it on the game, unfortunately spook and sinister wood seems to grow anywhere around the rocks and only one tree per server, this makes it even more impossible to find.
The Christmas Update
Each year a Christmas Update is available, the update seems to start any day of December. Wrapped gifts are available at all stores when the update comes out, wrapped gifts cannot be open until Christmas Day.
Events items are the rarest items on the game and of course you can always buy them from other players but to be honest it’s best to buy the item yourself when the event updates are out.
The only problem is that the developers rarely update the game so that there’s never really anything new on the game, the game is enjoyable but I would prefer to play a game where it gets update regularly with new items to explore.
I would rate Lumber Tycoon 2: 6/10
